1:50 scale...Foose and Tokyo Drift

A slightly bigger size replica of a car than a 1:64 hot wheel is a 1:50 scale.  There are 3 Monte's in this size that I know of...  When Chip Foose's Overhaulin' show was popular on TV, there were 2 Foose Monte's made, of high quality, by JL Full Throttle. There was an episode with the silver Monte on Overhaulin', with the ghost flames within the racing stripes.  The black one's card does not show it as on Overhaulin', just a Foose Design.  A couple of the finer details are a left hand mirror, a painted grille emblem, and quarter window glass.  JL Full Throttle also made a 1:18 version of this Silver Monte...these were from 2004.

And here is the black Monte.

Here are the carded pictures of these :

Here is the size difference between these 1:50 scale and a 1:64 scale Johnny Lightning/Hot Wheels size....

Maybe you remember the movie: "Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift" and its opening sequence.  This is where the kid races his Monte through a housing development against a Viper or something.  I wont give anything away, but after that, the dad sends the kid to Japan to live with his uncle, which is the rest of the movie, the Tokyo Drift part.  Anyway, they made a model of this primered Monte:
Not too exciting if you havent seen the movie, but if you have, you'll like it better.  It was made by RC2, which seems to me was actually Ertl.  I could be wrong.  Ertl also made a 1:18 version of this car.
