Johnny Lightning Part 2

So now we are at 2004, and Johnny Lightning released more First Generation Monte Carlo's.  In the "Classic Gold 2" series release 23, we have a dark green 1970 Monte with a black top, very much like Chevrolet sold alot of in that color combination back in 1970. It had rubber tires.
This was on a card with a collector card (like a baseball card) with someone's actual Monte pictured.  The White Lightning of this car, is special, in that, while the interior was white, the bottom and the wheels were not. And the neatest part is that the whole car was painted white: (with a black top)

Then we have Chevy Thunder release 1, and lo and behold, a 1972 Monte in Silver!  Rubber tires with whitewalls...there is a collector card included with this one:
Note the park lights are not in the bumper but next to the grille, like a 72 did have:

Here is a White Lightning, you can also see the collector card included:

Remember, JL's have an opening hood:

But wait, there are two more to go!  In 2005, JL released a white 1970 on a card with a key.  But dont confuse it with the above (Classic Gold) White Lightning!

This was Chevy Thunder release 3, rubber tires and supposedly Cragar wheels.
Here is the White Lightning:

And last but not least we have 2008 release, Gold Series, release 8 (#34).  It is black, has rubber tires, and came with a clear plastic case as well.  This case had a mirror-like base as the underside of this car is painted, as in the exhaust is silver, silver gas tank, etc.  Most JL's are just an unpainted diecast base.

Here is the White Lightning of this...It is painted white with white interior:

Now you gotta admit those are pretty sweet... :)

There are more new Johnny Lightning Montes in 2012 - please see "Johnny Lightning part 3" for information on these!
