Little Montes!

Hot Wheels! Johnny Lightning! Ertl! Revell! Jada! This is a blog about the diecast cars that are of the first generation (1970-72) Chevrolet Monte Carlo.  I'll start with the different 1/64 cars, (typical Hot Wheels size) of which I have a collection of most of them.  Also, there are 1:50, 1:18 cars, as well 1:24 cars.  I own a 1972 Monte Carlo, and have owned it since 1984, which is why I like these diecast cars in particular. For years, friends of mine collected muscle car diecasts and there were no Monte's to be found.  Then in 1998, Hot Wheels released a 1/64 Lowrider version and there have been quite a few different ones by different companies since!  I'll try to document them here as best I can...  These are mostly my pictures, I've taken the liberty of using a few pictures from the internet...if you have any issues with that let me know, and I'll remove them.  I like to handle the cars, and generally don't collect them on the cards, like a lot of people do.
